Chemola ™ Desco M50P combines extreme -50F low temperature functionality and superior “pumpability” in a high quality and economical valve lubricant. It has special additives in a low pour point base oil to inhibit H2S corrosive action in valves as well as graphite to help protect threads on the gate/stem interface. The lubricant was specifically designed for use in the most hostile low temperature environments for both maintenance and frac operations.
Service Recommendation
Chemola™ Desco M50P may be used as a gate valve body fill/lubrication in low temperature applications. It also works well for general purpose lubrication and frac valve greasing operations in low temperature field environments. M50P was specifically designed and tested for “pumpability” in temperatures below -50F with exceptional results.
